A bit of a quieter year on the wildlife front this time. Whether it's been a lack of food, very dry conditions or the early summer cold weather, there's been less action in and around the islands. But as the season is coming to a close more fish have come in followed by large numbers of common dolphins and good numbers of gannets. With mostly calm sea conditions and often soft lighting it's been possible to get close to some feeding activity of both species. One particular day the overcast lighting gave a beautiful painterly effect to the images of young gannets hunting, as well as this high key image of an adult . Please see Latest Work for more images.
